What’s Included

9 Native Seed Varieties: Sustainably sourced and American-originated, these seeds are chosen for their aesthetic combination and ease of use. All seeds are ready to plant except Rose Milkweed, which requires cold stratification. This species was included because of its critical role in supporting migratory monarch butterflies, making it an essential addition to your garden.

Detailed Planting Instructions: Easy-to-follow guidance for planting depth, spacing, growing conditions, and care.

Seed Types

Wildflowers:

Rose Milkweed (Asclepias incarnata)
An essential addition for monarch butterflies and other pollinators. Milkweed requires cold stratification: place seeds in a damp paper towel inside a sealed plastic bag and refrigerate for 30 days before planting. Each pack contains approximately 240 seeds and provides coverage for about 4.8 square feet.

Sneezeweed (Helenium autumnale)
Cheerful yellow flowers that brighten your garden and feed late-season pollinators. (Fun Fact: The name “Sneezeweed” comes from its historical use in making snuff, not its connection to allergies!) Each pack contains approximately 7,000 seeds and provides coverage for about 28 square feet.

Wild Bergamot (Monarda fistulosa)
Fragrant lavender flowers that attract bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds. Each pack contains approximately 3,500 seeds and provides coverage for about 35 square feet.

Smooth Blue Aster (Symphyotrichum laeve)
Delicate blue-violet blooms that support pollinators in late summer. Each pack contains approximately 2,700 seeds and provides coverage for about 50 square feet.

Showy Tick Trefoil (Desmodium canadense)
Lavender-pink blooms that attract bees and butterflies while improving soil health. (Don’t worry—the name “Tick Trefoil” refers to the seeds sticking to animals, not attracting ticks!) Each pack contains approximately 275 seeds and provides coverage for about 5.5 square feet.

Common Evening Primrose (Oenothera biennis)
Night-blooming yellow flowers that are perfect for moths and other nocturnal pollinators. Each pack contains approximately 3,500 seeds and provides coverage for about 32 square feet.

Grasses:

Virginia Wildrye (Elymus virginicus)
A versatile, cool-season grass with graceful seed heads that stabilize soil. Each pack contains approximately 500 seeds and provides coverage for about 9 square feet.

Little Bluestem (Schizachyrium scoparium)
A compact, ornamental grass with beautiful year-round color. Each pack contains approximately 40 seeds and provides coverage for about 12.5 square feet.

Versatile Perennial:

Purple Coneflower (Echinacea purpurea)
A classic garden favorite with bold purple blooms that provide nectar for pollinators and seeds for birds. Each pack contains approximately 300 seeds and provides coverage for about 6 square feet.
